Recent engagements sees Manuela Ranno conducting at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Arena di Verona,Teatro Verdi in Trieste, Teatro Lirico di Cagliari and Volksoper in Wien. She also conducted I Virtuosi italiani Orchestra, Orchestra Vivaldi and the Orchestra of Teatro Regio in Torino.
Among her latest successes there are concerts with the soprano Jessica Pratt in Palermo and Catania (Bellini Contest), productions of La Cenerentola, Cabaret, Die Dreigroschenoper, Die Zauberflöte at Volksoper, Tosca, Madama Butterfly, La prova di un’opera seria, Stabat mater at Ente Luglio Musicale Trapanese, Cendrillon by P. Viardot in Trieste. At the Cilea Theater in Reggio Calabria, she conducted Il Barbiere di Siviglia, LaTraviata, Turandot and several operatic and symphonic concerts.
She also provided artistic support as Assistant conductor in various italian Houses conducting La Traviata, Il viaggio a Reims, Turandot, Le nozze di Figaro, Tosca, Don Giovanni, Rigoletto, Turandot, Falstaff, Cendrillon, Madama Butterfly, L’heure Espagnole, La Voix humaine and Lucia di Lammermoor, as well as The Witches of Venice by P. Glass.
At the beginning of her music career, Manuela Ranno has sang as Soprano since the age of 16, making many debuts in several major Opera Houses.
